Why every listing is trustworthy

Anyone can type a business name into a form. What they can't fake is control of the business's own domain. When an owner adds or claims a gym here, they prove they control that domain — either because it's an active domain.co.nz customer (verified instantly, for free) or by publishing a one-off DNS record only the domain's operator could add.

To get each directory started we also compile listings ourselves from public information. Those are marked unclaimed until their owner verifies the domain and takes them over.
